Hello writing people! All of us have wondered this at one point or another: who do I write like? Try this site out: http://iwl.me/. It is amusing me to no end.

Here's my issue with Tom Felton as the Best Villain. While I think Tom Felton was brilliant and did a wonderful job as Draco, I don't consider Draco a villain. I see him as a pawn, a reluctant participant, an unwilling prisoner, and a scared teenager, but definitely not as a villain. Draco might have been an utter prat, but in terms of evilness, he never quite achieved villainy. I can't see Tom Felton as Best Villain because I don't see Draco as Best Villain. Best Blonde Prat yes, but alas that isn't a category.

Remember that glitch in the time/space continuum where I found the inspiration and time and actually wrote something? Yeah, well that glitch has been fixed. I don't know what happened. I blinked, and then three work-filled weeks passed and my muse is an emaciated corpse surviving on the IV drip of my waning hope that I can Find.Some.Damn.Time.

So far the new year has brought in some good (work and the ability to keep myself in the life I am accustomed to even though it means selling my soul) and some bad (the damned snowpocalypse). So far though, the most annoying thing would have to be the utter demise of my writing muse. My writing's always been rather shoddy, but lately its really turned to shite. I remember signing the contract to sell over my soul, but not my muse, and I am tempted to call a redo.

I haven't written much and I haven't even read much of anything lately to be honest. Whenever I try to write something, it sort of fizzles in a spectacularly pathetic way. I just can't start a fic at the beginning. Usually, what happens is I have one single line of dialog that just encompasses the mood of the entire fic, and then I write the story around that. Last night on dramionedrabble@LJ for the anti-Valentine's Day-A-Thon there was a comment that managed to spurred around 600 words of fanfiction from me. Short, yes, but it's a start!

I went to watch Narnia today and for some odd reason, my mind went to very slashy places with Edward and Caspian. They were quite close to each other in a few scenes and I think my mind took on an inappropriate tinting of its own and started watching the movie with slashy 3D glasses instead of regular ones. The funny thing is before today I'd never thought of anything Narnian in such slashy forms....

On another note, the kid that played Eustace was fascinating. He was so snobbish and posh and I thought the actor who played him performed brilliantly. He definitely stole the scene a lot of the times for me (well, when I wasn't busy imagining Edward/Caspian together doing the steamy).

Season 5 of Brothers and Sisters premiers tonight on ABC Family and I am so excited about this. I never really got into the show, and honestly I don't know that I am into the show even. I do however very much adore the relationship between Kevin and Scotty. They are absolutely adorable and I love the drama that is their relationship. They're both fantastic actors and hot as all hell. I originally got hooked on them after watching clips of the show on YouTube. You can find these clips here: http://www.youtube.com/user/cjordan1462 on cjordan1462's Youtube channel. These clips, when seen in order, chronicle their story from season 1-4 if anyone's interested in seeing them, but not necessarily the whole show.

Plot Summary: A promiscuous gay party animal falls for a young Mormon missionary, leading to crisis, cliché, and catastrophe.

Tag Line: Aaron prays. Christian plays... Opposites attract.

Starring: Steve Sandvoss and Wes Ramsey as the leads

Review: First off I want to say that I really loved this movie. While I like queer cinema, I have to admit most gay movies are just plain bad. Most of the times its the acting, sometimes its the script, and then other times its either too campy and over the top or too slow and morose. One thing though about gay movies though, is that there is never a shortage of hot men/women, and in this respect this move was right on par.

This movie was a completely pleasant surprise for me. The movie was wonderfully paced, the acting was great, the guys were hot, and lo and behold, there was actually plot in the movie. This movie has just the right amount of camp and humor without making a fool of itself while at the same time being an endearing story of love, acceptance, and fighting for the things you love. This was a movie that moved the viewer without making them need to take a Prozac. At the end of the movie, the wrap up of the plot and story left me feeling happy and, I'll admit, a bit warm inside.

I definitely recommend this movie to anyone that either likes queer cinema or just plain good cinema. It can also be conveniently watched on Netflix via Instant Play. If that isn't enough incentive, then how about this slightly spoilery bit of goodness: there is a love scene, and a very tastefully done love scene at that.

Go, watch, and let me know what you think! If you've already seen this movie, then let me know what you thought about it anyways.
